Plot summary
A stock market crash leaves Akash unable to borrow the twelve million dollars his company owes its shareholders, and he heads for the George Washington Bridge to jump. Kiara, who lives in San Francisco, arrives there too, having found her fiancé Kunal with another woman. The Coast Guard prevents them. A second attempt puts Akash in the path of a car and leaves Kiara with a broken neck; both wake in the same hospital. Because the bank has taken his house, Kiara brings him back to her apartment. More failed attempts follow, and the two settle on a date twenty days away. With that deadline ahead, they set out to do the things they always wanted.
