Plot summary
People in different parts of the world describe encounters with beings they take to be non-human, and those accounts shape the inquiry. What may be present on Earth is the question, and the visitors are named sometimes as angels, sometimes as extraterrestrials. The ways such beings might interact with people, communicate, and pass information below ordinary awareness into human consciousness, and possibly into human DNA, are also examined.
