Plot summary
Amit Sahni is a young investment banker, and for years he has carried a private checklist. A painful breakup in his teenage years left him with a long list of traits for the perfect woman, and on each date he secretly measures his companion against it. Mala takes life as it comes and lives as a free spirit; she matches almost none of the traits he wrote down, yet the two of them become engaged. Then Devika walks into his office, and she is the woman of his dreams by the list's own measure, which turns Amit and his list upside down.
