Plot summary
The soldiers of a U.S. patrol are young, and the sortie they are sent on in Iraq in 2004 is meant to be routine. Fedayeen insurgents know the local ground far better than the Americans do and ambush them, so the patrol has to rely on its training and skills at once. Spc. Tyler Jackson, Sgt. Delvecchio, Spc. Cohen, Pfc. Roy Pena and the rest of the unit are pulled into close-quarter combat, fighting to survive.
