Plot summary
During World War II in Italy, an American platoon is attacked, and only four men remain: The Sarge, Joey, Mittens and Dolan. Cut off behind enemy lines, they try to find their way back. Joey sees a creature in the moonlight that he cannot explain, and the next morning the others do not believe him. Taking it for a deer, Mittens and Dolan go out hunting for food and come upon a Nazi camp holding pictures and studies of a spacecraft hidden deep in the forest. The Sarge and Joey reach a downed alien vessel in the woods and notice that a creature is trailing them. Nazi troops, among them scientific and medical staff, are searching the same forest for the aliens' technology.
