Plot summary
The Gavanas Empire conquers the planet Jillucia in the Andromeda galaxy and rebuilds it as a military fortress. Princess Emeralida and the warrior Urocco escape in a space galleon with Emperor Rockseia XXII's forces in pursuit. Jillucia's leader sends out eight Liabe seeds, each meant for a warrior who can defend the planet. The seeds reach the two reckless space pilots Shiro and Aaron, Jack, a man whose debts to gangsters have entangled him, the young aristocrat Meia, and General Garuda, a disillusioned officer. The seeds mark each of them as chosen, and not all of them welcome the call.
