Plot summary
In a dystopian future, climate change and food shortages have left Thailand an oppressive police state kept alive by risky experiments, including breeding insects for food. Singh, a onetime Muay Thai fighter, plans to leave it all behind and settle in his hometown of Chiang Dao with Rin, a doctor. For one last assignment he goes to Bangkok with Kriang, his superior, hauling containers of fish taken off a sunken freighter for VS Corporation. The catch carries an unknown pathogen. An ailing senior official of the company is taken to Rin's hospital, the infection breaks out there and the building is sealed. Hearing the announcement over a public address system, Singh slips inside to find Rin, and meets a boy named Buddy who shows him how to bring the zombies down.
