Plot summary
A former Delta Force operator records a videotape, then ends up in military custody at a high school the army has turned into a black site. He gives his name as Yusuf Mohamed. Helen Brody, an FBI Special Agent, and her Counter-Terrorism Unit colleagues watch the recording, in which he presents three bombs hidden in separate American cities and timed to go off together. He wants the President to announce an end to American backing for dictatorships in Muslim countries and the withdrawal of U.S. troops from the region. A special interrogator known as H is brought in to make him talk. Brody is appalled by the methods H uses, and her boss Saunders says the threat of ten million deaths leaves no room for restraint.
