Plot summary
Reverted to normal by genetic procedures, Luc Deveraux works as a technical expert for the United States government, refining the UniSol program with his partner Maggie. The program aims to produce soldiers faster, stronger and more intelligent than the originals. The new UniSols, called the 2500s, are linked through neural implants to SETH, a self-evolving thought helix, a sentient computer system. When SETH learns that budget cuts will shut the program down, it moves to protect itself, and a platoon of UniSols led by Romeo seizes the UniSol building. Luc, Maggie and the others evacuate. Reporter Erin Young stays at Luc's side as General Radford pushes for drastic measures to stop SETH.
