Plot summary
A children's party entertainer in Rio de Janeiro, Pérola holds on to a dream of working as a chef. She lives with her mother and her adopted younger brother, and she earns money as the second cook in a restaurant kitchen in the city's South Zone. She has not gone after the dream because she wants to please her mother and the rest of the family. Her luck arrives when she is approved to assist a famous chef on a television program. The chef is successful and handsome, and his seductive manner makes the job easier.
