Plot summary
Don Drake and his friend Fred Horton arrive at the house of Don's brother Doug for a visit. Neither of them knows that Doug and Susan, who have not been able to conceive a child naturally, have taken part in a set of unconventional experiments run by Doctor Lucas, experiments intended to induce a pregnancy in Susan. While the two men look for beer in the house, they come across a book written by Aleister Crowley and a tape recorder that plays a distorted voice. Hearing the recording, Doug storms in and scolds them, then stays to drink with them.
