The Singer (2006) on Netflix

Plot summary

In Clermont-Ferrand, Alain Moreau still performs with a dance-band that is among the last in the city. He is something of an idol among the women who come to hear him, though he knows the audiences are shrinking and that he is no longer young. Then he meets Marion, a striking businesswoman much younger than he is. She holds herself apart and appears to have someone else, though little by little she lets him see she may feel the same. Their brief affair grows more tangled, and he takes up her time as an estate agent, announcing that he suddenly has to move house.
