Plot summary
Valerie Jennings is a model in London. Terry, her photographer boyfriend, drives her into the countryside to search for an abandoned house, and keeps his reasons to himself. They reach it at nightfall. As they explore, Valerie opens a bedroom door on a collection of women's passports. A woman and a man she cannot see let themselves into the house, so Valerie and Terry take cover in a closet and watch the man attack the woman with a switchblade. The killer goes to the bathroom to rinse his hands, and Valerie slips out of the house. Their car keys are not in the car, so she runs into the woods. He follows her to a wrecking yard, where she hides inside a car.
