Plot summary
An afternoon of water skiing brings Reg, Skip, Julie and Pam ashore on an island that serves as a testing center for Dr. Myra, a scientist backed by agents from an eastern power. The agents are working on a formula meant to turn the country's people into mindlessly obedient zombies. The hulking, bearded zombie Ivan captures the four teenagers, and Myra has them locked in cages in her basement laboratory. The agents take Reg's boat, leaving the group stranded. Myra has already tried the formula on convicts and drunks, and she means for the teenagers to be tested before it is used on the rest of the country.
