Plot summary
Alana comes into the world as a volcano erupts, and the disaster divides her from her parents. A wealthy woman takes her in and raises her, hoping to give her an ordinary life. From childhood into adulthood, anger keeps rising in her, and she fights it without understanding where it comes from. As an adult she learns the truth about her origins: she is not an ordinary human but the reincarnation of the goddess Dewi Asih, a figure meant to bring balance to a society full of injustice. What she carries could make her a protector of humanity, or a ruin if her anger wins.
