Plot summary
Joanna is eighteen years old and has ADHD. She lives with her father, who is depressed and unable to work. Her medication is what keeps her fast-moving mind in order, and when the money for her pills runs out, she tries every way she can think of to get more. In the middle of that hunt she meets Audrey, a classmate who is charming and confident. Joanna's feelings for Audrey are new to her, and so is the question of how she feels about herself. Audrey seems stable to her, and falling in love is not a breeze for Joanna.
