Plot summary
Marty Rantzen is an outcast at his high school. On April Fool's Day in 1976, Carol Manning lures him into the women's locker room, where Skip Pollack and several classmates mock his naked body and rough him up until a coach steps in. Two of them, Ted Harrison and Carl Putney, then offer him marijuana dosed to make him sick. Skip interferes with Marty's science project, setting off a chain of events that ends with Marty sprayed with nitric acid and left disfigured. A decade later, in 1986, Carol meets Skip and the rest of the group at a reunion. They learn theirs were the only invitations, and that the school has stood empty and neglected for years. They break in to party.
