Plot summary
A freelance cameraman in Taipei is paid to photograph locations in search of paranormal activity. His shots of a seemingly empty room come out with a boy in them, and the ghost-hunting team that hired him takes up the case. The team brings in a police officer, a sharpshooter and a lip reader. The officer's mother is in a coma and her body is failing. When the program's director calls the research worthless and costly to the Japanese government, the team shows him a magnetic cube that splits apart to hold energy of any form and can float in the air. Thousands of the cubes fill the walls of the room where the ghost is held, blocking the boy's movement. The team still cannot say why his energy does not dissipate.
