Plot summary
Bodies are turning up in a quiet Southern California suburb, with banana peels left near the dead, and the police have no idea what is responsible. A group of teenagers venture into a cave and disturb a prehistoric apeman who has been lying dormant inside. Detective Sgt. Wino is told where the creature lives, and Professor Shlibovitz goes into the cave to study the habitat. The apeman wanders into the suburbs, a menace to some residents and a friend to others, and the police cannot hold him. He falls in love with Mindy Blinerman, a blind teenager who is kind to him.
