Zachi Noy

Biography

Zachi Noy is an Israeli actor who was born in Haifa in 1953. He started out performing with the local HaSadna theater as a young person and later served in a military band. His career took off when he played Yudale in Lemon Popsicle, a 1978 Israeli film that became a cult hit and spawned several sequels. He appeared in all of those sequels over the next decade, plus the spin-off Sababa. Noy also acted in Israeli musicals for children, including Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, and Sallah Shabati, and he took part in entertainment stage shows and children's television programs. In addition, he dubbed animated movies into Hebrew, among them Space Jam and The Swan Princess.
