Vivian Nesbitt

Vivian Nesbitt is a third-generation actor. Her first professional job came at the Roundabout Theater, where she understudied Ann Dowd and Mary Steenburgen in Candida by George Bernard Shaw. She went on to appear in shows including The Night Shift, Breaking Bad, Manhattan, Law & Order: SVU, Longmire and The Messengers. Her short film Leverage was an official selection at Taos Shortz and NMWIF Film Fiesta and won a Best Performance award. She wrote and starred in The Bark & The Tree, staged at the United Solo Festival, an Off-Broadway event, and she took two awards for that work at Theatre Row in New York City and the Los Angeles Women's Theater Festival. Nesbitt holds an MFA in Acting and has studied with Anna Deavere Smith and Alan Arkin. She performs Si Kahn's Mother Jones In Heaven on tour, a one-woman musical about Mary Harris Jones. She is heard on Art of the Song Creativity Radio, a public radio program.
