Upen Patel
Biography
Upen Patel is an Indian model who was born in the UK on August 16, 1980, in a family that had moved there from Uganda. After graduating in Media Studies from West Herts College he started getting modeling offers, and he went on to work for brands including Hugo Boss, Paul Smith and Zegna and to shoot campaigns with Wendell Rodricks, Vikram Phadnis and Westside. His first remix video, Sun Sahiba Sun, he saw as a step toward Bollywood, and he later settled in Mumbai, where directors such as Mukesh Bhatt and Tanuja Chandra sent film feelers his way. Instead of rushing into a project, he waited for an offer he thought was right.
