Sim was born on July 21, 1926 in Cauterets, Hautes-Pyrénées, France as Simon Jacques Eugène Berryer. He was an actor, known for Asterix and Obelix vs. Caesar (1999), The Voice of the Moon (1990) and Asterix at the Olympic Games (2008). He was married to Jacqueline Blanchet. He died on September 6, 2009 in Saint-Raphaël, Var, France.
