Ronald Leigh-Hunt
Biography
Ronald Leigh-Hunt was a British actor who worked in film and television. He trained at the Italia Conti Academy and first acted while serving in the army. He never became a major star, but he appeared in more than a hundred productions over a forty-year career. On television he was King Arthur on The Adventures of Sir Lancelot in the 1950s, and during the early 1970s he appeared in General Hospital. He was Colonel Buchan in all episodes of the children's series Freewheelers. In Doctor Who he played Commander Radnor in 1969's The Seeds of Death and Commander Stevenson in 1975's Revenge of the Cybermen. He also appeared in Danger Man, Minder and Blake's 7. His film credits included Le Mans (1971), The Omen (1976) and The League of Gentlemen (1960). He died in 2005.
