Biography
Rebecca Quin, better known as Becky Lynch, is an Irish professional wrestler born in Limerick and raised in Dublin. She began training in 2002 and made her debut that November as Rebecca Knox, working independent shows across Europe and North America, and in 2005 became the inaugural SuperGirls Champion in Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling. After several years away she returned to the ring in 2012 and signed with WWE in 2013, joining the NXT developmental territory. At Backlash in 2016 she became the first SmackDown Women's Champion, a title she has held five times, and in 2018 she adopted the aggressive persona The Man. In 2019 she won the Royal Rumble and took both the Raw and SmackDown women's titles in the main event of WrestleMania 35, the first women's match to headline the event. She later became WWE's sixth Women's Grand Slam Champion, and in 2025 won the Women's Intercontinental Championship with a record 163-day reign.
