Peter Vollebregt
Biography
Peter Vollebregt is an actor born in Dublin. He trained in drama at Trinity College Dublin. His stage work has ranged from lead parts at Ireland's main theaters to productions in Sydney and London's West End, where he debuted as Mert Entwhistle in The Shawshank Redemption, staged at the Wyndham Theatre. In Dublin he drew critical praise for roles including Ben in Who's On First, Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show, the Fool in The Cuchulain Cycle and Juror No. 8 in 12 Angry Men, winning The Irish Press Best Actor Award for the last. His screen and television work dates back to 1984. Other credits include radio drama, commercials, computer games, voice-over, and audiobooks of James Bond novels such as Casino Royale, Dr. No and Goldfinger for Macmillan Publishers, plus the title role in the radio comedy Councillor O'Toole.
