Nickola Shreli

Nickola Shreli is an American actor and filmmaker born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1981. He trained with 2nd City Theater and Detroit Ensemble Theater. He worked on small independent projects in Detroit's underground film scene and on larger productions that came to the city, such as 8mile. In 2007 he took a role on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Finding Hollywood's casting process difficult, he made his own short film in 2009, Familiar Foreigners, which he wrote, directed and starred in, playing a man who enters Detroit illegally. After parts in several studio films and television series, he returned to his independent Detroit roots with Cash Only (2015), playing the lead role of Elvis Martini, which he also wrote.
