Biography
Mother Love is an American comedian, actress, presenter, and author. Born Jo Anne Hart in Cleveland, Ohio, she grew up in a housing project and drove a school bus before beginning her stand-up career in Columbus, Ohio. She was the original host of the syndicated television show Forgive or Forget from 1998 to 2000 and hosted radio programs in Los Angeles on stations including KLSX, KBIG, KACE-FM, and KFI. Her film work includes Mr. Nanny (1993) and Volcano, and she also appeared as herself on The Torkelsons, which later became Almost Home. She wrote three books, including Listen Up Girlfriends and Half the Mother Twice the Love, and later co-hosted dLife on CNBC from 2005 to 2013.
