Melissa Schuman
Biography
Melissa Schuman is an American singer and actress known for her work with Dream, the girl group whose single He Loves U Not went platinum. Born in San Clemente in 1984, she left Dream in 2002 to focus on acting and a solo album. She appeared in films including Love Don't Cost a Thing (2003), The Hollow (2004), and Silent Scream, and recorded There for Me with Nick Carter in 2004. Her planned solo single Don and album were scrapped, though the single was released in 2010, the same year her album Stereotyped came out. In 2008 she formed Lady Phoenix with former Dream bandmate Ashley Poole; the group disbanded in 2012. Dream reunited in 2015, released O Holy Night that year and I Believe in 2016, toured 39 cities on the My2K Tour, and disbanded again in 2016.
