Mateo Arias

Mateo Arias is an American actor and musician who records as a rapper and singer-songwriter. Born in 1995, he grew up between Lawrenceville and Atlanta in a Colombian household and was raised bilingual. He is best known for starring as Jerry Martinez in the Disney XD series Kickin' It and as Carly Andres in the coming-of-age film Blast Beat (2020). Arias began as an actor before launching a music career in 2017 with the single Uno Dos, a collaboration with Jaden Smith. He followed that with singles such as Palm Trees and Orso (off top), then released Americano, UNI2, Hope 4, and Buzzed, the last featuring Willow Smith. He has also worked with Post Malone, Lido, and Kali Uchis. His debut studio album, ¿Téo?, came out in August 2018, and a second album, Sol, followed in 2021. In April 2023, he appeared at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
