Lewis MacDougall

Lewis MacDougall is a Scottish actor from Edinburgh who began acting with a local drama group that emphasized improvisation rather than written scripts. His film debut came in 2015 as Nibs in Joe Wright's fantasy film Pan (2015), a role he won after an open audition in Morningside. The following year he starred in the dark fantasy drama A Monster Calls (2016) alongside Felicity Jones and Liam Neeson, playing a boy who communicates with a tree monster. He later co-starred in Boundaries (2018), a road trip comedy-drama with Vera Farmiga and Christopher Plummer that had its premiere at South by Southwest in March 2018. Also in 2018, he appeared in the short film Multiplex and in The Belly of the Whale. He also attended a London Film Festival event for A Monster Calls and discussed the film on BBC's The One Show with his co-star Liam Neeson.
