Kate Jackson

Kate Jackson is an American actress and television producer who began in summer stock in the late 1960s and trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she worked as an NBC page before joining the daytime soap Dark Shadows as the silent ghost Daphne Harridge, then appeared in Night of Dark Shadows (1971). She spent four seasons as nurse Jill Danko on The Rookies. Her breakout came as Sabrina Duncan on Charlie's Angels, a role that landed her on the cover of Time alongside Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith. Jackson earned three Emmy and four Golden Globe nominations. She starred opposite Harry Hamlin in Making Love (1982) and played Amanda King in Scarecrow and Mrs. King, which she also co-produced. Later film work included Loverboy (1989) and television movies such as Quiet Killer and Empty Cradle, plus a 2000 remake of Satan's School for Girls, after starring in the 1973 original.
