Kal Weber

Kal Weber is a British-Canadian filmmaker, actor, and former editorial photographer. His short film Carousel starring Ewen Bremner was nominated for a Crystal Bear in the 66th Berlinale International Film Festival, the Main Prize in The 62nd Oberhausen Short Film Festival, and Best Short at the 70th EIFF Edinburgh Film Festival. His first short The Gift won a TCM Turner Classics Special Jury Prize at the London Film Festival. His script Stones was a semi-finalist in The Page Awards while winning a Best Screenplay prize at The Rhode island Film Festival, and his screenplay Wanting [Blink of an Eye] was a semi-finalist in Final Draft's "Big Break" contest. He lives in London.
