Josh Dallas
Biography
Josh Dallas is an American actor who was born in Louisville and trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in England, then joined the Royal Shakespeare Company and appeared with several other British theater companies. After returning to America, he was given the role of Fandral in Thor (2011) when Stuart Townsend dropped out just days before shooting started. Dallas watched Errol Flynn movies for inspiration, aiming to bring some boyish charm to the part, and he did not return for the sequel, with Zachary Levi taking over. He went on to star as Prince Charming, also known as David Nolan, in the ABC series Once Upon a Time, beginning in 2011 and staying six seasons before sitting out season 7 in 2017 and returning for the finale. From 2018 to 2023 he played Ben Stone in the NBC mystery drama Manifest.
