John Lacy
Biography
John Lacy is an actor who began his career in 1988 with work in beer commercials and music videos. Born in Iowa City and raised in Minneapolis, he went on to study extensively and do stage work while committing to the Meisner technique. That training led to guest roles on situation comedies from Miller/Boyett Production. Nancy Savoca directed the antiwar romance Dogfight (1991), in which Lacy played Fector, his first significant film part. He later appeared in many of television's top-rated programs, continued a recognizable presence in commercials, and took supporting roles in notable films. He also became known for coaching and motivating people who wanted to enter entertainment, and his mentoring platform, The Artist Process, helped develop promising young actors.
