Jill Baker
Biography
Jill Baker is a British actress who has spent five decades working in theater and television. Born in 1952, she made her screen debut in the television movie Savages in 1975 and has appeared steadily on British television ever since. Her stage credits include West End productions of Sufficient Carbohydrate, Goosepimples and All My Sons, along with the 1988 premiere of The Secret Rapture. On television she played a recurring lead in Rides, Screaming and Fish and took guest parts in The Professionals, Only Fools and Horses, Inspector Morse, Prime Suspect, The Broker's Man, Perfect Strangers, New Tricks, A Touch of Frost, Secret Smile, Holby City, Spooks, Wallander and Happy Valley, where she played Helen Gallagher in 2014. She also appeared in the film Shakespeare in Love.
