Jan Anderson
Biography
Jan Anderson is a Welsh actress who began performing as a child with the Vagabond Theatre and appeared at The Grand Pavilion in roles such as Annie and Juliet before leaving school at 15 to join the Welsh National Opera and train at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She presented the HTV Wales program The Gen and took early television parts in Is Harry on the Boat, The Bill, Doctors and London's Burning. Her best known role was Chloe Hill in the BBC series Casualty, which she played from 1998 to 2002, and she appeared in the British film Human Traffic (1999). After studying acting in Hollywood, she worked on American films including Halloween Night (2006), Detention and Portal, and later played Marie in an episode of Torchwood and Stella in Curb Your Enthusiasm. She also played Katherine in the video game Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
