James Westmoreland

James Westmoreland, also credited as Rad Fulton, was an American film and television actor whose career ran from 1956 to 1987. Born in Dearborn, Michigan, he went to New York City to model and met the agent Henry Willson, who persuaded him to try Hollywood and gave him the stage name Rad Fulton. His movie debut came as Walter Brennan's son in Come Next Spring, and he credited Steve Cochran with helping launch his acting career. He made thirteen films between 1956 and 1960, though he was uncredited in all but four. Television brought him more recognition, starting with a 1957 episode of The West Point Story; he appeared twice on Alfred Hitchcock Presents and guest-starred on Laramie and Route 66. After Willson ended their association in 1963, Westmoreland's television career improved when he was credited as James Westmoreland, with recurring roles on General Hospital, The Monroes and The Young and the Restless. He died in 2016.
