Ingrid Lacey
Biography
Ingrid Lacey is a British actress who graduated in 1981 from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, having grown up in Surrey and studied at Godalming College. She became best known on television as Helen Cooper in the Channel 4 sitcom Drop the Dead Donkey and as Julia in the second series of London's Burning. Her film work includes Funny Man (1994), In Love and War (1996) and The Cat's Meow (2001). On stage she has appeared at the Royal Court in Blood and Our Late Night, at the Hampstead Theatre in Lolly Susi's Gone to LA, and in The Knight of the Burning Pestle, and in 2007 she appeared in Elling at the Bush Theatre, a production that later moved to the Trafalgar Studios. She played Tricia in Brad Fraser's 5 @ 50 at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, in 2011. Her credits also take in radio plays and voice work for video games.
