Greg Morris
Biography
Greg Morris was an American actor who built a long television career after serving in the Army during the Korean War and studying at the University of Iowa, where he worked in college theater and hosted a jazz radio program. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he made his first professional stage appearance in The Death of Bessie Smith and began screen work in the 1960s with guest roles on series including The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The Twilight Zone and Ben Casey. In 1966 he took his best known part, the electronics expert Barney Collier on Mission: Impossible, staying with the show for its whole run. Later he played Lieutenant David Nelson on the detective series Vega$, and he returned to the Mission: Impossible remake of 1988 to 1990. Morris died in 1996.
