Gideon Jacobs

Gideon Jacobs is an actor who began his career as a child performer. A talent scout hunting a six year old for One Fine Day (1996) spotted him in his kindergarten class at a public school in New York City, and he auditioned for the director at 20th Century Fox, ending up with a small part and the advice to find representation. Commercials and television work followed quickly, and he went on to appear in more than 100 television spots. His early film roles included playing a young Tom Hanks in You've Got Mail and a young Ben in Liberty Heights (1999). He also worked alongside Molly Shannon on Wet Hot American Summer (2001), Courtney Love on Julie Johnson (2001) and Adam Sandler on Mr. Deeds (2002), played Buzz in the Disney television movie Home Alone 4, which was filmed in South Africa, and recorded the lead voice for the Nickelodeon animated pilot Spidah.
