Fred Norris
Biography
Fred Norris is an American radio personality who has spent longer on The Howard Stern Show than any other staff member besides Stern. Born in Willimantic, he first met Stern in 1979 while working overnight shifts at WCCC, a Hartford radio station. Stern's success at WWDC in Washington, D.C. led him to bring Norris aboard as producer in October 1981, and Norris moved with him to WNBC in New York in September 1982, staying with the show from then on. He has also taken small parts in television and film, appearing in Private Parts (1997) as his younger self, as a parking enforcement officer in Cruel Intentions (1999), and as Leon, a head shop owner, in a 2013 Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode.
