Frazer Smith

Frazer Smith, born in Detroit, Michigan, is an American actor, stand-up comedian, and radio personality. He worked in Los Angeles radio for decades, starting at KROQ-FM from 1976 to 1979, then moving to KLOS, KMET, KLSX, another stint at KLOS, and finally KRTH in 2002. His debut show on KROQ-FM coincided with the station's rise playing new wave music. He was known for extended improvisational comedy, including a mythical lothario and detective character heard on the sporadically produced Hollywood Nightshift. He announced for the TBS music video program Night Tracks from 1986 to 1988 and again from 1989 to 1991, and hosted the late night television show Rock 'N' America in 1984. He also took minor parts in movies and TV, and with Peter Crabbe, offered an annual alternate audio commentary for the Tournament of Roses Parade. While at KLOS, he came up with the catchphrase Too hip, gotta go!
