Fernando Tielve
Biography
Fernando Tielve is a Spanish actor whose screen career began when he was young. Born in Madrid in 1986, he showed an early interest in acting and first appeared on television in A las once en casa, playing the son of the character portrayed by Ana Obregón. At 13 he won the lead role of Carlos in Guillermo del Toro's The Devil's Backbone (2001), which was his feature debut. That performance brought him a Best Young Actor in an International Film award at the 2002 Young Artist Awards. He went on to star in Fernando Trueba's The Shanghai Spell. On television, he played Cayetano in El internado from 2007 to 2008 across 22 episodes. His later film work included a minor part in Rage, the lead role of Axl in the British film Unmade Beds (2009), and the title part in the 2010 independent film 14 Days with Victor.
