Deborah May

An American actress and model, Deborah May won the Miss Indiana pageant in 1970. Born in Remington, Indiana, she made her television debut in 1973 with a guest role on The Streets of San Francisco. She acted in stage productions, among them a Great Performances filming of The Taming of the Shrew in 1976, and from 1979 to 1980 was a regular on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. In 1981 she directed the documentary You Have Struck a Rock. During the 1980s she appeared in made-for-television movies and series, including the miniseries Rage of Angels and the medical drama St. Elsewhere as Terri Valere. Her big screen debut came in the 1984 comedy The Woman in Red, followed by supporting roles in Disney's The Kid (2000), Nurse Betty and Johnny Be Good (1988). She also had recurring roles on Murder One, ER and The Larry Sanders Show, and later on The Cut and The Walking Dead.
