David Wayman

David Wayman is a British actor who trained at the East 15 Acting School in East London after starting at 18. Born in Enfield, North London, he was educated in Hertfordshire and North London, and before acting he was a Rifleman in the British infantry, serving with the Army Reserves. Early film and stage parts led to a lead in After Death, a film by Martin Gooch, a BAFTA winner, and it collected awards at festivals worldwide. He played opposite Paul Freeman, Nick Moran and Leslie Phillips, joining at the last minute as a replacement for another actor. He later had a lead in the romantic comedy Art Ache. His theater credits included the title part in A Picture of Dorian Gray, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, and Captain Phoebus in a staging of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
