Big break
Billy Duffy asked Morrison to join The Cult in 2001, and he took the job as the band's bass player. Morrison mainly plays rhythm guitar, but he liked the thought of playing bass for a seminal rock band.
A first
Morrison designed the Gibson Les Paul Billy Morrison signature model guitar, which came out in January 2011 at the NAMM Show. Few Les Paul guitars have a white headstock, and this is one of them.
Behind the camera
Morrison co-wrote the majority of Billy Idol's 2014 album Kings & Queens of the Underground with Steve Stevens and Idol, after developing a strong writing partnership with Stevens.
A change of course
Besides performing with the band, Morrison spent three years hosting Camp Freddy Radio on Indie 103.1, a Los Angeles station, alongside Navarro and Leitch.
