Betsy Brandt

Betsy Brandt is an American actress who works in television and theater, having trained in acting at the University of Illinois and later at Harvard. She was born in Bay City, Michigan, in 1973. Her early screen work included guest parts on Judging Amy, ER, The Practice, Boston Legal, Without a Trace and NCIS, and she acted on stage in Much Ado About Nothing with the Arizona Theatre Company and in Julia Cho's The Language Archive with South Coast Repertory. She became best known as Marie Schrader on Breaking Bad, a role she played from 2008 to 2013 and revisited for the Better Call Saul finale in 2022, and the cast received three Screen Actors Guild Award nominations and one win. She went on to play Annie Henry on The Michael J. Fox Show and Heather Short Hughes on Life in Pieces from 2015 to 2019, later appearing in Soulmates and Saint X.
