Anita Hegh

Anita Hegh is an Australian actress who grew up in Willoughby, New South Wales and trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1994 after switching from teacher studies at Sydney University. She started with small parts in Così (1996) and Paradise Road (1997) before becoming well known as Ellen Mackenzie, called Mac, on the television series Stingers. Her television credits include Janet King, Last Man Standing, Deep Water, McLeod's Daughters and Total Control, the ABC political drama she joined in 2019, and she won an Australian Film Institute Award for her supporting role in MDA. She also received the 2018 Helpmann Award for her supporting performance in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. Her films include Last Ride (2009) and Stuffed, and she won a Helpmann Award for The Wild Duck. Other small screen work includes Carlotta, My Place and Rescue Special Ops.
