Alix Talton

Alix Talton was an American actress who came to Hollywood by way of modeling and the stage. Born in Atlanta, she trained in singing and dancing as a child, and after moving to New York City she worked for the John Robert Powers modeling agency. Her first show business job was singing in the American Jubilee revue at the 1939 New York World's Fair, and summer stock and a Miami nightclub engagement followed before producer Bryan Foy cast her in several films. Warner Bros. signed her in 1941, where she played small uncredited parts and performed with the Navy Blues Sextet. She later left Hollywood to build her stage skills and returned in 1949, settling into a freelance career as a character actress. Her films included In a Lonely Place (1950), The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) and The Deadly Mantis (1957). On television she played two neighbors in My Favorite Husband from 1953 to 1955.
